National Night Out

Last week I took the boys to National Night Out. Dylan got to hang out with some of his friends and they all got to do cool things.

No Fear Trevi

We took the kids swimming yesterday. All Trevor wanted to do was JUMP into the pool. We had Dylan take off his swim vest and immediately give it to Trevor. Trevor is a crazy dare devil!!

Our Condo Is For Sale

Last week Matt and I listed the condo for sale. Anyone want to buy a 2 bedroom condo 5 miles from Laguna Beach?

Eventually, we hope to be able to buy our own house.

OC Fair 2013 - Round 2!

Today we took the kids back to the OC fair. We met some of our friends there, and everyone had a good time.

 

We got "The Big D" donut. It's as big as Dylan's head!

Dylan road some crazy rides, and Trevor and Tyler watched.

We got this HUGE stack of french fries. There were 7 of us and we did not even come close to finishing this pile!

Trevor's First Visit To the Dentist

Trevor turned 17 months today! We celebrated with a trip to the dentist. =) Trevor cried, but it went as best as I thought it could.

Trevor got his photo taken after his check-up and was given this "Certificate of Excellence."

 

Dylan said he would hold Trevor's hand while we walked into the dentist office. What a good big brother.



Dylan Gets His Cast Off

Dylan got his cast off on 7/16/13. This was about 4.5 weeks after he broke it.

 

As you can see the arm is still healing. Dylan has to wear a brace for another 4 weeks. He is still having some elbow pain, especially when he plays hard. We hope it all heals soon.

OC Fair 2013

Last week we took the kids to the OC fair. Dylan still had his cast on, but he still had a blast!

Gymboree

Trevor has been attending Gymboree, and last Thursday they let Dylan play too! Both boys had a blast playing with each other.

Dylan still had his cast on, so he was happy to be able to join in on the fun!

 



Sunflowers!

Dylan planted a few sunflower seeds around the house. Now we have two GIANT sunflowers. They are over 8feet tall!

 



4th of July 2013

We had a busy and fun 4th of July. 

Trevi, all ready to celebrate the 4th! 

 Dylan and his friend Hailey went to the Anaheim Hills 4th of July parade. Here they are cheering on everyone.

Dylan met the Mayor of Anaheim. They talked about Dylan's broken arm.  

 Then we went to Pool Poppa's and Pool Grandma's for fireworks! Dylan picked out the biggest box of fireworks I had ever seen. Dylan was so excited to light fireworks. This is something Dylan had been talking about and waiting for all year!!

I took Dylan and Trevor to the Santa Ana Zoo last week.

Dylan Breaks His Arm

Dylan broke his arm at the end of the year school picnic. (6/14/13) Dylan fell off the slide at school. I was at Target when it happened, and I rushed to get him. It was a very LONG 3 days! 2 hospital visits, 2 pain killers and one all nighter!

(I did not get a photo of hospital visit #2 -- Dylan was in too much pain for photos. Poor little guy!)

 

On day 4 Dylan got his permanent cast on. He picked dark blue for his cast color.

Broken Arm = Lots of video game time! Dylan got a new wii game: Mario Party. He has been playing it since Tuesday.  Now that his cast is on, he is off the pain meds and I actually got a smile out of him! Dylan has to wear this cast for 4 weeks!



Dylan's Preschool Graduation

Thursday, 6/13/13, Dylan graduated from preschool.  

 Dylan is the "poster child" for his school.

Dylan gets his "Camo" Belt

Last Friday, 6/7/13, Dylan tested for his Camouflage belt. The studio had a pot luck after the belt graduation...so Dylan called this "Mommy's birthday party." (Since it was my birthday, I even got to break a board!)

Open Play at My Gym

Today, My Gym had open play hours for non-members.  Since Trevor has not been able to go, we thought this would be a good day to let him play. Trevor and Dylan had the entire place to themselves. (Only the owners 5 year old daughter was there...which was great for Dylan!) The boys were having so much fun, that we stayed for 2 hours! Trevor had a blast, was happy the entire time and was totally tired after 2 hour of play. =)

Trevor's 15 Month check up

Yesterday, Trevor had his 15 month old check up.

15 Months old: 25.4 lbs (92%) and 33 inches. Off the chart in height!

Trevor is not "talking" yet. The doctor said we make BIG babies who talk late. The doctor is hoping Trevor has his first word soon.

Dylan Updates

 Dylan just finished 3 months of "Sports" class. Basketball, soccer, and baseball.

Dylan just joined the Weapons class at his Karate studio. He loves it!! Here he is with his first weapon. He thinks he is a real ninja!

 

Dylan made this Earth at school. I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree! (Matt's Tree) It says "God made the Earth. My favorite part of God's creation is ...VIDEO GAMES. All the other kids wrote, "The Animals, The flowers, etc. Dylan...just very happy that video games were created. I think we are in trouble.
