Summer Time Fun 2014

The boys had a great summer. They were super busy. Here are a few of the neat things we did this summer.

Where are Dylan's Teeth?

Dylan has lost 4 teeth so far. It just so happens to be all 4 front teeth. Dylan loves showing off the new hole in his mouth!

I took Trevor to the movies for the first time. He did not last too long, 29 minutes! I think I will try again when he is 3! On to our next adventure...

4th Of July 2014

 We started the day off with a pancake breakfast.

Housewarming Party 2014

We had an awesome Housewarming Party last month. Lots of food and fun!

Dylan's Kindergarten Graduation

Dylan graduated from Kindergarten. He had such a great day. 

 The class voted on awards for each kid. Dylan received the award for "Most Funny!" That's our D, Mr. Personality!

 Grandma got Dylan a money necklace. The kids all loved it and could not believe that Dylan had "real money!"

When Dylan grows up he said he wants to be a Billionaire! 

Viva Las Vegas

Matt had to go to Las Vegas for a work event...I got to tag along. 

 

We had dinner at the Gordon Ramsay Steak House. Yum!

Trevor has outgrown his crib. Since it was Dylan's and Trevor's baby crib, I had it turned into a bench!

I love my new seat! The boys love it too! 

Open House

Dylan invited us all to Open House. He showed us all around his classroom and where he sat. 

 Dylan even made a cut-out of himself. Too Cute!

The kids wrote about themselves. Dylan's paper says:

I am a BOY and I am 6 years old. I have BLUE eyes and BLONDE hair. I have 1 brothers and 0 sisters. My Favorite food is PIZZA. If I could go anywhere, I would go to GAM STOP. (Game Stop) When I grow up I want to be a FIREMEN. (Fireman)

Dylan wanted me to take a photo of this photo.  It is Dylan and some of the first grade friends in his class. It hung on the wall in his classroom. 

Dylan's Baseball Trophy

Dylan received his baseball trophy. He said he "don't ever, EVER, EVER, sign me up for baseball again." LOL. This may be Dylan's only baseball trophy. He said baseball was too boring.

But...he sure was happy to get the trophy! =)

Mother's Day 2014

This Mother's day, we had to go out and buy Trevor a toddler bed. He was jumping out of his crib. (Even though we had the mattress on the floor!)

Trevor loves his new "Cars" bed. 2 years, 2 months old. 

 

We finished the day off with a trip to my favorite restaurant, Don Jose. The boys did their usual..."jump off the Don Jose bricks" after dinner.

Missing Tooth

We have big exciting new in this house...Dylan lost his first tooth. It had been wiggly for a few weeks, then last night, Dylan ate a Fruit-Loop and it came right out! The Tooth-fairy left him $5 under his pillow. 

Today at baseball the kids were all showing off their missing teeth, it was funny. 

New Sand Box

One sandbox, one umbrella, two dozen sand toys, and 1,000 pounds of sand = 2 very happy boys. 

Dylan's Class Field Trip

Last Wednesday, Dylan's class went on a field trip to a farm. Before he left for the field trip, Dylan asked me if the "farm had paperclips?"....when I asked him why, he responded with "so we can plug our nose!"

 I an't go no county boy here! He did enjoy the bus ride to the "stinky farm" and I think he also had a good time looking at all the animals.

Little League Day at Angel Stadium

Sunday was Little League Day at The Big A. Dylan and his teammates got to walk the baseball field. It was really a fun day for everyone!
