Summer 2017

The kids had a great summer. Here are just a few of the MANY things we did.

Shelli's 38th Birthday

We played hokey from work and school and we went to Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. The kids enjoyed missing school.

Mystery Reader

Every Friday and Monday Trevor's class has a surprise "Mystery Reader" come into the classroom and read a book. Last Monday, it was Dylan! The kids were thrilled to see a "kid" (and not an adult) read them a story. Dylan was the first kid to read them a story. 

Dylan did a great job! Trevor had a big smile on his face. 

At the end of the story Trevor said..."That's just my brother."

For Mother's Day I was lucky enough to get Anaheim Duck hockey Playoff tickets!

Spring Break 2017

This year for Spring Break we took the kids to The Lawrence Welk Resort in San Diego.

School District Art Competition - 2016/2017

This year the boys decided to enter the school wide district art competition. This was their first year entering the competition and they BOTH won FIRST place! Way to go Dylan and Trevor!

 Dylan made a computer graphic for the graphic design competition. The theme was "What is your story?" Dylan made a computer graphic of himself playing on the computer - since that's what he loves to do! He won first place at his school and he won a yellow "Honorable Mention" award ribbon at the district competition. 

We turned Dylan's graphic into a mouse pad for his computer. 

Way to go Dylan! 

3rd Grade - 8 years old

 Trevor entered in the Photography competition. The theme was "What is your Story?" Trevor made a "Fireman Police Station" out of Legos and then took a photo of it. He loves to play with Legos and when he grows up he wants to be a police man.  

Trevor won FIRST place at his school and he also won the "Award of Merit" with the school district.

Way to go Trevor!
